Law Maker (lawmaker.in) is built for one specific audience: law students and judiciary exam aspirants in India who need real, verified information, not another generic exam prep template.

Every judiciary exam notification on this platform is sourced directly from official state PSC or High Court notifications, with a link back to the source. A mentor is listed only after we have checked that they are a retired judge, judicial officer, or practicing advocate. Coaching institute listings show details from public sources or given to us by the institute, never invented ones, and paid placements are labelled Sponsored.

In everyday English, a "lawmaker" is a legislator, someone in Parliament or a state assembly who writes the law. But that's only half the story. Every judge who has ever interpreted a statute, applied precedent to a new set of facts, or written a reasoned judgment has, in a very real sense, also made law. This is not a metaphor. It is a settled idea in jurisprudence: through interpretation and precedent, courts shape what the law actually means in practice, often as much as the legislature that drafted it.

That is the double meaning we built this platform around. The judiciary aspirants preparing here are not just studying for an exam. They are training to become the people who will interpret, apply, and in that sense help make the law, one judgment at a time.
