Open to students enrolled in three-year and five-year undergraduate LL.B. programmes across India. Only one team per law college. Each team has three members: two speakers and one researcher. Offline, held 4-6 September 2026 at ICFAI Law School, IFHE, Donthanapally, Shankarapalli Road, Hyderabad 501203. Five rounds in total: two preliminary rounds in which each team argues both sides, then quarter-finals with the top eight teams, semi-finals and final. Last date for seeking clarifications on the moot proposition is 9 August 2026. Soft copy memorials due by 11:59 PM IST on 23 August 2026; four hard copies of each memorial to be submitted at physical registration on 4 September 2026. Early bird registration Rs. 2,850, regular registration Rs. 3,450, accommodation Rs. 5,000. Prizes: winner Rs. 1,00,000, first runner-up Rs. 50,000, second runner-up Rs. 20,000, with a total prize pool of about Rs. 2,00,000. All participants receive certificates and Manupatra access for memorial research. Named for Shri N. J. Yasaswy (1950-2011), founder of the ICFAI Group.

Open to students bona fide and regularly enrolled in a three-year or five-year LL.B. programme at an institution recognised by the Bar Council of India. Maximum two teams per institution. Each team has two or three members (a three-member team is two speakers and one researcher); all members must be from the same institution. Hybrid format: online preliminary and quarter-final rounds 12-13 September 2026; offline semi-final and final rounds 27 September 2026 at the MNLU campus. Stage I fee Rs. 4,500 per team; Stage II fee Rs. 5,500 for teams reaching the offline rounds, which includes food and accommodation. Memorials in soft copy due 20 August 2026; memorial evaluation results 6 September 2026, with the top 32 teams advancing to oral rounds. Winner receives Rs. 50,000, an internship with Phoenix Legal and SCC Online subscriptions.

Eighth edition of the competition. Conducted offline from 25 to 27 September 2026 at the GD Goenka University campus, Sohna, Gurugram, Haryana. The 2026 moot proposition focuses on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations in international commercial arbitration, covering ESG compliance, technology governance and arbitral procedure. The competition simulates authentic arbitral proceedings, giving participants the opportunity to argue complex commercial disputes before experienced arbitrators, legal practitioners and academicians, and to strengthen legal research, written advocacy and oral argumentation skills. Prize pool exceeding Rs. 6,00,000.
