CHAPTER VI [APPELLATE AUTHORITY]

India Code records, in a footnote to section 1(4), that this Act came into force on 30 November 2013. The East Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act, 1949 is repealed for Punjab by section 75, subject to the savings in that section.
1[A person making an application or preferring an appeal to the Appellate Authority under this Act may either appear in person or take the assistance of a legal practitioner of his choice to present his case before the Appellate Authority.]
