Section 65: Amendment of orders

India Code records, in a footnote to section 1(4), that this Act came into force on 30 November 2013. The East Punjab Urban Rent Restriction Act, 1949 is repealed for Punjab by section 75, subject to the savings in that section.

Clerical or arithmetical mistakes in any order passed by the ¹[Appellate Authority] or Rent Authority or errors arising therein from any accidental slip or omission may, at any time, be corrected by the ¹[Appellate Authority] or, as the case may be, the Rent Authority on an application received in this behalf from any of the parties or otherwise.
