A Rajasthan Land Revenue (Amendment and Validation) Bill, 2025 (Bill No. 7 of 2025) inserts section 100-A (Government land placed at the disposal of RIICO for industrial areas) and clause (xvii-a) in section 261(2). Notwithstanding a Act, the State Government may at any time, by notification in the 1[Official Gazette], direct that any urban area that may have developed in State shall be subject to the levy, In accordance with rules made under this Act, of a special urban rate in addition to rent.
