Section 303 of the Indian Penal Code is now section 104 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, in force from 1 July 2024. All of the old wording is kept; nothing removed and 15 words added.

BNS section 104Punishment for murder by life-convict
Whoever, being under sentence of imprisonment for life, commits murder, shall be punished with death or with imprisonment for life, which shall mean the remainder of that person’s natural life.
